Inner stress weigh us down and we are not even aware of it. We usually have normal days and stress has been a our normal and steady companion until it manifest in our body through sickness. In order for us to have healthy body and soul, we must develop a habit of forgiving ourselves and other people too. We are all living in an imperfect world with imperfect people, and without realizing it, other people might hurt us or we can hurt them too. As God has forgiven us and look beyond our faults, we must forgive too. By being a forgiving person, we are doing ourselves a great favor.
