The BBC report published at the end of October highlighted the fact that wine production is facing increasing challenges to meet the demand. The problem is clear when you think about the fact that last year the demand exceeded supply by almost 300 million cases.

One of the reasons behind this disparity is the fact that wine consumption has steadily been rising for a while. Wine has been found by many different health studies to be good for you when consumed moderately and there is now a growing wine culture all across the globe.
